TYPHOON JACKLE & HIDE ONE SYSTEM. TWO SOULS.

Jackle & Hide exhaust system for Ferrari and Lamborghini with two modes: Standard and Monster.

BRAND STORY

There are plenty of exhaust systems for Ferraris and Lamborghinis.
That was never the problem.

The problem was that nearly all of them forced owners into a compromise.

If you wanted the true sound of a naturally aspirated V8 or V12 — the raw, aggressive, motorsport-inspired tone that these engines were clearly designed to produce — you were pushed toward expensive equal-length manifold systems, straight-through race pipes, or full decat setups costing well over £16,000.

They sounded incredible.

But they permanently removed the catalytic converters.

That meant:

  • Increased MOT complications
  • Reduced flexibility
  • Excessive cabin resonance
  • Permanent “race mode” behaviour
  • Endless exhaust swaps before inspections
  • And an increasing dependence on “friendly” MOT stations willing to overlook emissions realities

As emissions regulations become stricter across Europe, enthusiasts are finding themselves trapped between two worlds:

A compliant road car…
or a properly sounding supercar.

The TYPHOON JACKLE & HIDE system was created because we believed you should not have to choose.

WHY JACKLE & HIDE EXISTS

Built by enthusiasts For enthusiasts.

The Jackle & Hide concept was born from a private collection of Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and prestige performance vehicles owned by a collector who was tired of the same compromise every supercar owner faces:

“Why can’t a car be civilised one moment… and absolutely insane the next?”

Modern supercars are masterpieces of engineering.
Yet many aftermarket exhaust systems remove one of the most important things: Choice.

Traditional systems typically:

  • Permanently bypass catalytic converters
  • Use fixed equal-length race headers
  • Prioritise volume over flexibility
  • Sacrifice MOT practicality
  • Remove the ability to return the car to near-factory behaviour

The result is often:

  • Excessive noise at all times
  • Harsh cold starts
  • Constant drone
  • Difficult emissions testing
  • Expensive labour repeatedly swapping exhaust systems

We engineered Jackle & Hide to solve that problem properly.

THE PHILOSOPHY

STANDARD WHEN YOU NEED IT.

MONSTER WHEN YOU WANT IT.

The Jackle & Hide exhaust system is designed around dual personality architecture.

At its core is a proprietary intelligent valve-controlled bypass system that allows the vehicle to operate in two completely different states:

JACKLE MODE

Refined. Controlled. Compliant.

  • Catalytic converters active
  • Near-factory acoustic behaviour
  • Reduced cabin resonance
  • Civilised cold starts
  • MOT-friendly operation
  • Comfortable touring and urban driving

HIDE MODE

Unleashed. Aggressive. Raw.

  • Catalytic converters bypassed
  • Straight-through exhaust flow
  • Maximum acoustic output
  • Motorsport-inspired tone
  • Immediate throttle character
  • True naturally aspirated supercar sound

One button changes everything.

About Typhoon Specialist Vehicles

HOW IT WORKS

Unlike conventional exhaust systems that permanently remove emissions equipment, the Jackle & Hide architecture uses intelligent valve routing to control exhaust gas flow dynamically.

MODE 1 — FACTORY

The vehicle behaves exactly as the manufacturer intended.

Your Ferrari Manettino system or Lamborghini drive modes continue controlling the valves automatically.

When the factory ECU commands valve opening:

  • The system can bypass the catalytic converters
  • Sound becomes aggressive and unrestricted

When the valves close:

  • Exhaust gases return through the catalytic converters
  • Noise levels reduce dramatically
  • Road manners return

This creates the perfect dual-purpose setup:

  • Quiet when cruising
  • Violent when accelerating

Exactly how a supercar should feel.

MODE 2 — VALVES CLOSED PERMANENTLY

Track-day friendly.
Stealth mode.

The valves remain closed at all times.

Benefits:

  • Lower overall decibel levels
  • Ideal for noise-restricted circuits
  • Comfortable long-distance touring
  • Maximum refinement
  • Full catalytic converter routing maintained

Perfect for:

  • European road trips
  • Early morning departures
  • Noise-sensitive environments
  • 105dB restricted track days

MODE 3 — VALVES OPEN PERMANENTLY

HYDE MODE.

Everything bypassed.
Everything unleashed.

In this mode:

  • Valves remain permanently open
  • Catalytic converters are bypassed continuously
  • Exhaust gases flow straight through
  • Back pressure is dramatically reduced
  • The engine delivers its purest soundtrack

This is the mode designed for:

  • Open pit lane track days
  • Private events
  • Show cars
  • Tunnel runs
  • Demonstrations
  • Drivers who want the full experience

The result is a completely transformed car:

  • Sharper response
  • More violent overrun
  • Increased emotional connection
  • Authentic motorsport character

Your V12 or V8 finally sounds alive.
